TEXT XPOSED started out as a simple Xposed module to add 3 options (Define, Search and Share) to the Contextual Action Bar (CAB) when some text was selected while typing.
But since it's inception, much work has gone towards further expanding the 3 areas to provide some handy utilities when you select some text almost anywhere on your Android device and most features don't require Xposed anymore

DEFINE
This feature shows you a swift little pop-up with the definition of the word. Ideal when you are reading an e-book or a news article and find it rather distracting to open a dictionary app again and again.

🔶 There are two ways without Xposed
• First is to use the Share button. Found in most browsers, news apps and e-book readers. Select Define from the share menu.
Note that some apps do not provide a Share button. In such cases, this will not work.

• Second is to activate a feature called "Copy to define" from settings. As the name suggests, you just have to select some text and hit the copy button. It can be paused from the notification when not needed.
Enabling the + button shows you a pop-up with the copied text, which is useful in apps like WhatsApp where a word can't be selected singularly from the chats

• For Play Books you can also use "Web search" feature. And for dictionary feature in Moon+, FB Reader etc choose "ColorDict"

🔶 Offline definitions available in 5 languages currently: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (A very big thanks to Livio for providing access to their data)

🔶 Thesaurus with a list of synonyms and antonyms

🔶 In addition to that, you can quickly switch to Wikipedia for additional information and Wiktionary for languages that currently do not have offline access (Set the default language from settings)

➕ Xposed gives you additional control. To get Define as an option in the CAB, you can either select some text while typing or double tap a TextView (which means places like WhatsApp chat bubbles, YouTube comments, Play store description,etc. Please refer to the video).
This, however, has some limitations and might not work in all apps.

SEARCH

This is only applicable for Xposed users. As mentioned earlier, you can either select some text while typing or double tap a TextView to search for the text using Google.
More features are planned in this section and shall be implemented soon

SHARE

🔶 Copy - As the name suggests, you can copy text using the Share menu (for ex. by using the "Share page" feature available in most browsers)
This will also be shown in browser selection menu, when you tap on a link.

🔶 Open As URL - This allows you to open the selected text as a URL (if it's valid)
