On the Dropbox website you will see an Open button instead of a Download button for your files and folders if you’ve installed this experimental desktop client and have the file locally synced. Depending on the file extension, clicking the Open button will open the application on your computer associated with that file extension or open your OS's file browser to the containing folder. This feature is compatible with the all recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. If you’re experiencing issues please let us know what OS, browser, antivirus, and firewall software you are running.
If you currently configure Dropbox to use a proxy on OS X, please test out our new auto-discovery and auto-configuration support by switching to "Auto-detect" in the Network tab of Dropbox's preferences.
Dropbox integration in File Explorer should work just as it did in 3.0 and earlier, so please let us know if anything seems wrong.
